Our founders Betsy Johnson & Vicky Berry, a mother and daughter team, started this rescue fifteen years ago November of 2003 with the intentions of rescuing two horses and finding them a loving home.
Over 250 horses, donkeys and mules have been rescued.

We sincerely miss this beautiful lady every day. Becky was always there to lend a hand, to bolster spirits and organize events. Her writing abilities combined with her public relations and media knowledge were a great asset to our organization.
